    The World(?).
Something less philosophical and going away from talking about me. I decided that I will post my observations on current events here as well. Somehow I think that if I say anything it is usually intelligent, but somehow nobody ever listens to me. So now you get to "hear" it.

I think that I have found the root of all suffering in this world, STUPIDITY. I know it sounds very arrogant like I think that I am super smart, but its the goddamn truth. Everything in this world that is bad is caused by stupidity. Saddam Hussein, is stupid. Poverty in Africa is cause by stupid corrupt politicians. They never think that maybe if their country with lots of natural resources grew richer; they might earn more in the long run.

In French class, we were discussing the recent riots in France by French immigrants. I think the immigrants are just plain wrong. Racism is a social problem, not a political problem, rioting and complaining to the government will not help their cause. In fact it would do the direct opposite and cause more hatred towards them. Also complaining about unemployment doesn't help if you don't get off your butt and do something about it. Learn a new skill or something for christs sake, don't just sit there crying.

that's enough ranting(?) for now, maybe I should post this in my other blog lol.

    Lonely.
Have you ever had this sudden feeling? Where it justs hits you that you are insignificant in this world, that the circle of people you know is just a speck of the worlds population; there is this sudden fear that this is going to be the only people you know for the rest of your life, that you will run out of things to say to your friends and get bored. Its a weird thing, but it just hit me last night. Somehow I start to think about philosophy when I lie awake on my bed, trying to sleep.

    Puberty.
"You become morally self-aware and have to make moral choices on your own, thinking for yourself. You stop simply accepting the rules of your parents or your church; you don't always even accept the laws of your country. Instead, you look to the principles behind these rules and decide whether those principles are valid. Once you take this step, the world will never be the same.

You acquire the intellectual capacity for formal reasoning -- the ability to think about thinking -- which allows you to be aware of your own awareness. This experience is literally a mind-blower, since it opens up your consciousness beyond the space of your skill. You open up to the sacred, whatever is sacred to you. This experience, too, can transform your whole world.

You experience your body changing and see your parents growing older. From this evidence and your new self-awareness, you deduce the inevitability of old age and death. The sudden consciousness of your own mortality can strike with such force that you feel vertigo.

You may begin to search frantically for some kind of meaning in a life that must end in death and loss. If no worldly answer seems to transcend death, you have to consider cosmic answers. If you were raised in a religion, you may turn to it now in a powerful new way. Humans can't live without meaning. Most teens discover that the old meanings of childhood don't work anymore. Some teens must find new meaning in life, or it is simply not worth living anymore. You need meaning to face death."
    - Buddha in your backpack

Food for thought, when I read it I realized that it was what I was going through on the nights when I couldn't sleep and lay in bed thinking.

All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.
This is quote has stuck into my head for a long time, because it is so true. Haven't you realised that you act very different from how you truly are? In school around my friends I act different from at home and in the end I think I never act like my TRUE self. In school I am too playful, too trivial, this sounds very arrogant but I feel that there is more to me than what you see on the outside. It is just that I have found it hard to express myself, maybe because inwardly I am shy, or maybe because of the language barrier with my friends. This is why I write this blog, it is a means to express myself, I hope when you read this you are not dwelling on who I am but instead reconstructing your perception of me and seeing the real me.

    Why?.
"Why?" A question that is often asked, but often never answered. I write this blog to write out my thoughts and emotions, to lay out my mind. Through this I hope to understand how I think, what exactly I am thinking. When writing out your emotions, you really start to think about what you are actually feeling to put it into words. Through writing out my mind, it would help me to "let go of it" in meditation. I have started to think more about my religion buddhism and I have read a book "Budhism in your backpack". It has affirmed my opinion that Budhism makes sense, and I hope in some way to follow the Buddhist path

This blog is much more low-key than my other blog. The other blog was too public, even my annoying little brother knew about it. If I write out my real thoughts in my blog I can already imagine the reactions. Everyone will go "Oh my god Choon, so deep hehe" or something like that. I have lots of things to write about, but I will write about them later. For now be content with my answer of the question "Why?"
